The research was published in “BMC Neurology.”

The research team first collected 130 international documents and selected 7 studies for comprehensive analysis. Seven studies were included, and all of them were large-scale, long-term, follow-up cohort studies of a healthy population. Then, Selected 2.4 million subjects without a history of stroke tracked their usual coffee drinking habits to analyze the rate of strokes.

Data analysis results show that drinking 450 to 600 ml of coffee (mostly black coffee) a day can reduce the risk of stroke by about 8%. However, Dr. Lung Chan explained that although drinking coffee is associated with a reduced risk of stroke, it cannot be used as a medicine or health product.

They seem to hinder the accumulation of toxicity of a certain protein from reducing Type 2 diabetes risk.
